Mangiferin, a bioactive compound abundantly found in plants such as mangoes and Anemarrhena asphodeloides, has long captivated the interest of researchers for its potiential therapeutic properties. However, despite its innate benefits, the full realization of mangiferin's therapeutic potential has been hampered by challenges such as limited bioavailability and specificity [1]. To overcome biological activities, scientists have turned to the synthesis of mangiferin derivatives.
